A lot can occur between the changing of the seasons; besides the leaves falling and temperature dropping, the time comes to trade in short-sleeved shirts for sweaters and coats. With that comes the dreaded question of, “what do I wear?”. To be completely candid, the switch from summer to fall is difficult and ensuring that you stay warm while remaining on trend can be somewhat of a burdensome task.
What is simple, however, is scrolling through Instagram. I love the app because it is so accessible - almost anything you would like to see can be found by just a few taps of a finger. With that being said, Instagram is my go-to for fall inspiration. With my style varying from day to day, I can find something to fit all of my different moods.
Nothing reminds me of home more than New York Style. The amount of diversity in the city just reads an effortless sense of cool, which I love.
Though it feels strange at times to look to the West Coast for style inspiration (#whatiswinter) there is no denying that California seems like the place to be (after New York City, Of Course). At times, I don’t know whether I spend more time looking for ideas or wishing I were there.
One of my favorite things is finding a blogger that is either from a different country or travels a lot. Viewing images of their respective hometowns and trips allows me to temporarily escape my personal reality and envision theirs which is nice and sometimes needed.
